After working as a Web Administrator and application developer for several startups, and established companies, I became a contract developer, working by word-of-mouth alone. Often projects get delayed due to the need for a separate design and development team, often each with their own managers. All those people and management layers add time and money to your projects. Process

For long term projects, we apply the cyclic development methodology you see on the above. Although, for many clients, they need a certain solution yesterday... which dictates a different development process. In those cases, the overall cycle is broken down into smaller stages where functionality is prioritized, grouped, and launched in stages.
